How old are you?
21 (turning 22 on 21st April).
Is 3D your Job? Do you want to be a full time 3d artist in the future?
No it is not. I want to be not only a 3D artist but a concept Artist in the future.
How long have you been using blender?
It’s been around 8 months.
Why did you choose blender? Was there a reason?
- Because it’s free (ofc)
- Since my computer is absolutely underpowered and obsolete it doesn’t support literally any other 3D software. I like the UI of blender tho. It is very modern and user friendly! Unlike other softwares that look like something straight out of windows 95 era.
Why do you prefer 3d over other forms of art?
3D because rather than hunting websites and images looking for that one single image from that one particular angle for an Artwork is time consuming. With 3D I can just make my own world without having to look for images and spend hours on Photoshop placing, cutting and adjusting them together.

What’s your advice for beginners?
With less than a year of experience myself I barely have any advice for beginners. However I will tell the ones who have just started that things will be overwhelming at first. You will see people make amazing Artworks and sometimes you’ll feel like you cannot be as good as them. It happens to all of us. Don’t be discouraged. There’s always someone better than you but that does not mean you cannot surpass them. Work hard, it’s not necessary to make a render everyday, find your comfort zone, work and improve on it. Soon you will be a master of your own art.
Community Questions:
how long does it take you to make a project?
It depends. Like I said, I have a super weak computer that can’t even play 10 year old games. It takes me around 3-5 hours to set things as I want them to be and then 5-10 hours to render depending on the engine I use.
How do you go about starting a new project?
To be honest there is no preconception of what to do. I never think before making what I make. I just sit, open blender, and get started with whatever comes in my mind instantly. Like they say “if it works it works!” If what I make looks good enough I post it. There’s generally not a lot of thought involved as thinking too much always ends up in two things, getting overwhelmed or getting confused.
What is your workflow with references for modeling objects from movies or series like the EVA Akira or the DeLorean? Could you give us some modeling BTS?
I’m a big manga reader. I read mangas more than I watch anime. Japan has a huge influence on me. Everytime I make a render inspired directly from Japanese classics I try to stay loyal to the aesthetics yet change things around so that it has that “ikhimaz” vibe to it. For Evangelion it’s always dystopian sci fi scenario, for Akira it’s Cyberpunk and with the DeLorean it’s like, how would a time traveling car in a normal man’s garage look like?
I haven’t Modelled the main subjects yet I do model most of the environment sorrounding them. They’re basically low poly structures with Textures that I make by myself. Lots of photoshop and unsplash.com involved ;D
How do you create your shaders that look kind of toony but absolutely awesome?
It’s basic Principled BSDF shading that I convert into toon-like shading on Photoshop after rendering the scene. Nothing fancy.

Who was the first person to inspire you to make art? What inspires you in general?
I don’t really remember if there was any person in particular. There were tons and there still are tons of artists that inspire me. I can’t name any because it’s highly likely that I will forget some and that will be an insult to such amazing artists. Though there is one thing in common. They all have got something to do with Punk (not Cyberpunk) and Sci Fi genres.
I get my inspiration mostly from Japan, it’s modern culture, it’s underground life and the literature (mostly mangas)
Do you make your own assets? If no, where do you get them?
I mostly make my own assets. Though sketchfab.com invites me for a coffee once in a while 😉
